The interior has a spacious dining room complete with ‘Mousey Thompson’ table provides a useful area for eating, reading or play board games. A fully glazed door opens onto the south facing stone paved terrace and lawn.
The sitting room is bright and cosy with a double height ceiling and windows on three sides. Quality sofas and armchairs provide comfortable seating around a wood-burning stove, perfect for unwinding after an exciting day exploring Northumberland. There is a flat screened digital television with i-Pod input.
A large en-suite ground-floor bedroom can be set up either as a twin or double and benefits from level access into the garden.

Getting there
- By Car
Follow the A1 north past Newcastle and on past Morpeth, keep following signs towards Alnwick. About one mile before the Alnwick turnoff, there is a small left hand turning towards ‘Whittingham”, take this and follow the lane for approx 3 miles. You will come to a crossroads with a cottage on the corner, drive straight ahead and down the hill for approx ½ mile. The drive for Keeper's Cottage is second on the left opposite Broomwood Farm and is clearly signposted. - By Train
The nearest train station is Alnmouth, which is around 10-15 minutes by car to the cottage. Alnmouth station is located on the North mainline and runs regular direct services to Kings Cross. - By Air
